Job summary

Universal Music Group in Santa Monica, CA is seeking a Manager, Contract Admin to support the Licensing and Partnerships team. You will review contract redlines, draft standard form agreements, and manage boilerplate license forms with EVP approval, ensuring timely delivery and compliance.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years drafting and processing legal contracts; paralegal certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience drafting and processing legal contracts.
• Bachelor’s degree required; Paralegal certification preferred.
• Knowledge of music licensing or production industry a plus.
• Strong organizational and communication skills; proficient with MS Office and CRM.
• Experience with e-signature platforms and boilerplate licensing forms.

Responsibilities

• Review contract redlines and draft standard form agreements and addenda.
• Act as authorized signatory for boilerplate license forms.
• Process fully executed licenses in the CRM and coordinate with billing.
• Collaborate with Account Executives, Clients, and Business Affairs on contract modifications.
• Maintain filing system for license and contract archives; assist with reports.
