Job summary

CP Industries, a trusted manufacturer of high‑pressure steel cylinders and vessels, is seeking a Lean Coordinator to lead continuous improvement and drive measurable gains in safety, quality, delivery, and cost. You will own the Lean program and develop workforce capabilities across shop floor and office environments.

This role collaborates with production, quality, engineering, maintenance, and supply chain teams and reports to the Operations Manager – Steel Division.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Industrial Technology, Business, or related field.
• 5+ years of manufacturing or continuous improvement experience.
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt preferred.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001, ASME, or military quality standards a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives across the facility.
• Facilitate Kaizen events, 5S activities, value stream mapping, and root cause analysis sessions.
• Analyze production data and process flows to identify bottlenecks and improvement opportunities.
• Develop, document, and implement standard work procedures with cross-functional teams.
• Coach and train employees, supervisors, and managers on Lean principles and tools.
• Monitor and report KPIs related to safety, quality, delivery, cost, and productivity.
• Support facility layout improvements, workflow optimization, and visual management systems.
• Track and communicate project progress and outcomes to management.
• Champion a culture of accountability, teamwork, and operational excellence.
