Job summary

Jobgether is seeking a Senior Content Strategist for a partner project in the United States. You will lead the content strategy and governance of a large-scale public data platform serving a federal health agency, with hundreds of thousands of monthly users.

You will define editorial standards, oversee taxonomy and information architecture, and drive content migration initiatives to unify fragmented government data sites into a single accessible destination.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
• 10+ years in content strategy.
• 5+ years planning taxonomies for public data sites.
• Experience migrating federal government content.
• Experience with Agile teams and Jira/Confluence.
• Clear, plain-language writing for diverse data audiences.
• Familiarity with Section 508 and WCAG 2.1 AA accessibility.

Responsibilities

• Define and govern the platform’s content strategy and editorial standards.
• Lead content migration and consolidations across agency sites.
• Manage taxonomy, metadata, and naming conventions for discoverability.
• Ensure documentation accompanies every data product page.
• Collaborate with developers, researchers, and stakeholders in an Agile setup.
