Job summary

Ripley PR, Inc. is seeking a Senior Content & Search Strategist in Maryville, TN to lead high-quality content creation and SEO initiatives for B2B and technical clients.

You will write and edit press releases, blogs and thought leadership while shaping voice and POV for multiple accounts. You will develop content strategies aligned with client goals, conduct baseline SEO audits, research keywords and topics, and translate data into actionable recommendations for clients and teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of experience in content marketing, communications, SEO or a related field.
• Exceptional writing and editing skills with a strong portfolio.
• Experience writing about complex B2B or technical subjects.
• Strong understanding of SEO, keyword strategy, content optimization and analytics.
• Familiarity with GEO, LLMs and the evolving role of AI-powered search.
• Ability to turn data and research into actionable content strategies.

Responsibilities

• Write and self-edit client-ready press releases, blogs, bylined articles, thought leadership, website copy and other strategic content.
• Establish and maintain the voice, tone and point of view for assigned clients.
• Develop content strategies aligned with client business, PR and search visibility goals.
• Conduct baseline SEO audits for assigned clients, including keyword performance, search visibility, content gaps and opportunities.
• Establish SEO benchmarks and provide ongoing progress reports showing improvements and opportunities.
• Conduct keyword and topic research to guide blogs, website content and thought leadership.
• Review existing content and recommend opportunities to optimize, update or expand it for better search performance.
• Incorporate SEO best practices into client content without sacrificing readability or quality.
• Help evaluate how clients appear in LLMs and AI-powered search to improve GEO visibility and brand authority.
• Translate SEO, GEO and content data into clear recommendations for clients and account teams.
• Participate in client meetings and conduct interviews with clients and subject-matter experts.
• Stay current on SEO, GEO, LLMs, content marketing and changing search behavior.
• Manage multiple client assignments and deadlines while delivering high-quality work.
• Demonstrate excellent grammar, editing skills and knowledge of AP Style.
