Job summary

Pearson is seeking a senior product manager/strategist to standardize content planning, build a unified spine, and elevate production workflows. You will work closely with content BU teams, design taxonomy and metadata schemas, and guide AI-enabled content initiatives with hands-on execution and coaching.

You will influence senior content PMs, champion high-quality plans, and help scale Pearson’s content strategy through structured governance and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Seven or more years of product management experience in content, publishing, or content platform domains.
• Hands-on ownership of content standards work: taxonomy and metadata design, quality frameworks.
• Experience with authoring, production, and delivery platforms including at least one migration.

Responsibilities

• Embed the standards spine inside real business unit work with global quality data.
• Redesign and shorten production workflows with teams.
• Guide content strategy, planning, and craft with content leaders across Pearson.
• Define plans and artifacts from MRDs to PRDs and specs.
• Build AI fluency across the content talent base and pilots.
