Hiring Manager:

Travis Tidball - Chief Marketing Officer

Purpose:

This role's purpose is to generate high-quality content that converts Applause's audience into action, resulting in at least $1,000,000 in new sales pipeline and $350,000 in ARR contribution from content channels.

Job Description:

The Sr. Content Marketing Manager will own all content initiatives across all mediums, including persuasive advertising videos, short- and long-form copy (blogs, ebooks, case studies, etc.), product webpages, thought leadership presentations, partner materials, and more. They will work closely with the CMO to define and execute the content marketing strategy.

Responsibilities:
  1. Own the content calendar from beginning to end, including quarterly editorial planning.
  2. Plan, organize, execute, and publish content rapidly to support all company initiatives.
  3. Collaborate with the creative team to produce digital assets (videos, case studies, ebooks, etc.) for demand generation, sales enablement, and events.
  4. Conduct primary and secondary research and synthesize data into compelling content.
  5. Define and execute Applause's thought leadership strategy.
  6. Develop audience personas, research, and topic selection.
  7. Cultivate a network of freelancers and agencies, managing relationships and deadlines.
Requirements:
  1. 5+ years of experience in content marketing within a US-based B2B SaaS or Home Services company.
  2. Exceptional writing and editing skills, with proficiency in video and design.
  3. Ability to adapt and find creative solutions to unforeseen challenges.
  4. Strong work ethic and discipline.
  5. Effective remote work setup with a stable internet connection of at least 50+ Mbps.
