Cogent Security is building a world-class marketing team, and we’re seeking a Senior Manager of Content Marketing. You’ll turn product insights, research, and customer outcomes into content that security practitioners read and share, guiding them through a buying journey with blog posts, whitepapers, ebooks, and social formats.

You’ll own the content lifecycle from interviewing experts to drafting, shipping, and optimizing for search and AI-driven answers, while coordinating with contractors on

Qualifications

• 5-7 years in B2B content roles, with at least three of them writing for security practitioners and buyers.
• Excellent writing and editorial judgment; able to explain complex security topics simply and credibly.
• Track record of content that earned attention: organic traffic, citations in AI answers, social engagement, and downloads of long-form assets.
• Hands-on SEO and AEO experience; familiar with Semrush, GA4, Profound, and AirOps.
• You've shipped at a fast-moving company without a big team behind you.
• Fluent with AI in the actual work; can show a content workflow built and iterated.

Responsibilities

• Content Production: Write blog posts, whitepapers, and ebooks for security practitioners at each buying stage.
• Interview researchers and engineers for accurate, detailed material.
• React quickly to security news; draft POV pieces while the story is current.
