Cogent Security is seeking a Senior Manager of Content Marketing to build the security-focused content program. You will craft blog posts, whitepapers, ebooks, and reports, interviewing researchers and engineers for accuracy, and ensuring content is found via search and AI answers.

You will lead social and video scripts, manage a flagship research report, and repurpose it into a broad content library. AI fluency and fast-paced collaboration are essential.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years in B2B content roles, with at least three writing for security practitioners and buyers.
• Excellent writing and editorial judgment; explain complex security topics simply and credibly.
• A track record of content that earned attention: organic traffic, citations in AI answers, social engagement, and downloads.
• Hands-on SEO and AEO experience with Semrush, GA4, Profound, and AirOps.
• You've shipped at a fast-moving company without a big team behind you.
• You can demonstrate AI-enabled workflows and practical improvements.

Responsibilities

• Write blog posts, whitepapers, and ebooks for security practitioners and buyers.
• Interview Cogent's researchers, engineers, and field team for accurate detail.
• React quickly to security news and publish POV pieces while the story is fresh.
• Execute Cogent's social strategy with regular series and scripts for videos.
• Lead SEO and AEO programs and track content performance.
• Collaborate with the research team on flagship reports and derivative content.
• Repurpose research into blogs, social posts, videos, and sales assets.
• Use AI across workflows to maintain quality and speed.
