Job summary

Cogent Security is building a world-class marketing team, and we're seeking a founding content leader who will own Cogent's voice: the editorial stance, executive, and founder perspective, turning raw material into content that travels and moves pipeline.

You'll lead content strategy, production, and research, ghostwrite for the CEO and CTO, and build systems to capture insights from interviews, Slack, and notes into thought leadership that security practitioners actively read and share.

Qualifications

• 8-10+ years in B2B tech content roles, cybersecurity preferred.
• Track record of content driving pipeline and organic growth.
• Experience shipping content with a small team and tight budgets.
• Excellent writing and ability to explain complex security topics clearly.

Responsibilities

• Own content engine end to end: calendar, and content series across channels (LinkedIn, blog, video, long-form).
• Own SEO and AEO to improve discovery and model-based asks.
• Tie content to pipeline and measure which pieces move deals; iterate.
• Ghostwrite for the CEO, CTO, and tech leaders with a strong point of view.
• Turn raw material into thought leadership that security practitioners read and share.
