Job summary

AbbVie seeks an ICEX Content Excellence Associate Director to oversee the International Content Excellence framework across Therapeutic Areas and Affiliates. You will manage content lifecycle processes, align with Brand Strategy, and drive compliance in a regulated environment.

You will guide cross-functional teams on strategic content creation, localization, and performance analytics, while championing new tools and technologies to maximize impact across global affiliates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Digital Media, Life Sciences, Pharmacy, or related field.
• Advanced degree (MBA, MSc, PharmD) preferred.
• Experience in brand marketing, content strategy, or content operations is required.
• Regulated pharma/healthcare familiarity is a plus.
• Experience leading cross-functional, multi-country initiatives is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee International Content Excellence framework across Therapeutic Areas and Affiliates.
• Coach cross-functional teams on content creation, localization, and quality benchmarks.
• Define and track content performance metrics to drive continuous improvement.
• Lead adoption of new content tools and technologies in partnership with stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards across all content initiatives.
