Job summary

Flatirons Bank in Boulder, CO seeks an AVP Consumer Loan Operations Manager to lead and optimize the consumer lending operations, regulatory execution, and team development. This role drives quality control, workflow coordination, and strategic improvements for scalable lending processes.

The position requires strong leadership, deep knowledge of lending regulations, and hands-on attention to detail in a fast-paced banking environment.

Qualifications

Minimum 7 years in mortgage operations and lending compliance.
Experience leading mortgage or consumer lending operations staff.
Strong knowledge of TRID, TILA/Reg Z, RESPA, ECOA/Reg B, HMDA, Flood laws.
Ability to balance leadership with hands-on production and problem-solving.
Proficiency with MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

Lead day-to-day consumer lending operations and compliance.
Oversee HMDA data quality and quality-control processes.
Coordinate workflow among loan officers, processors, appraisers and title companies.
Develop scalable processes and staffing plans for growth.
Serve as primary regulatory resource for lending laws.
