Job summary

Micro Center, a leading computer and electronics retailer, seeks a Retail Buyer – Consumer Electronics for its Corporate Merchandising team in Hilliard, OH. The role owns end-to-end category management from assortment strategy to vendor negotiations to drive revenue and GMROI.

You will source vendors, negotiate terms, and collaborate with Marketing and Web teams for omnichannel launches while forecasting demand to optimize inventory during peak periods.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Retail Merchandising, Marketing, or Business preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of merchant experience as a Buyer in Consumer Electronics.
• Strong negotiation skills and vendor relationship management.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end category management for assigned consumer electronics.
• Source, evaluate, and negotiate with vendors to bring high-demand products.
• Lead pricing, promotions, and lifecycle management.
• Collaborate with Marketing and Web teams for omnichannel campaigns.
