Job summary

Micro Center is seeking a self-motivated Retail Buyer with experience in consumer electronics to join our IPSG team in Ohio. You will negotiate with vendors, select top offers, and drive assortments to create the world’s best computer store.

This role requires strong negotiation, analytics, and cross-functional collaboration with web, marketing, and store teams. Our headquarters are in Hilliard, OH, with relocation assistance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related field; 5–7 years merchant experience in consumer electronics.
• Mandarin fluency is preferred; ability to travel to Asia as needed.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and retail math skills; proficiency in MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate costs and terms with vendors.
• Select and negotiate best-in-class offers for customers.
• Drive assortments to build the Best Computer Store in the World.
• Oversee and manage vendor activities.
• Forecast top selling SKUs; coordinate with stores and web/marketing teams.
