Job summary

Kforce, Inc. is seeking a Principal Consulting Solutions professional to provide pre-sales engineering, solution design, and implementation oversight for consulting engagements.

You will serve as a technical leader, aligning with sales and internal teams to craft strategies and develop SOWs, pricing, and technical scopes. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and 10+ years in professional services, with expertise in modernization, digital transformation, or agile/devops.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 10+ years of experience required.
• Experience in professional services (systems integrators, management consulting, staffing) required.
• Experience facilitating complex modernization, digital transformation, or agile/devops solutions is ideal.
• Team or lead experience in Technology and/or Finance & Accounting lines required.
• Subject matter expertise in domains such as application development, devops, agile/scrum, BI, UX, cybersecurity, etc.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the highest level of technical expertise and act as a thought leader advising clients on solving complex problems.
• Coordinate with Sales and internal teams to craft client sales and development strategies; attend pipeline reviews.
• Develop client sales collateral including SOWs, pricing, technical scope, and implementation plans.
• Collaborate post-sale with Delivery Performance on service implementation and governance.
• Escalate and resolve complex client issues related to service delivery commitments.
• Create and follow department playbooks and monitor practice metrics for stakeholders.
• Track engagement success and suggest improvements for productivity and scalability.
• Support branding and marketing by developing content, case studies, and events.
• Screen candidates and participate in hiring decisions for billable consultants delivering solutions.
• Maintain knowledge of trends and best practices across relevant technical domains.
