Job summary

LaSalle Network seeks a Senior Consultant in Life Sciences Data and Analytics to support pharma commercial analytics initiatives, including forecasting, patient analytics, and market access.

You will work with major pharmaceutical datasets to deliver actionable insights, lead junior analysts, and present findings to stakeholders. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity in the Life Sciences data practice.

Qualifications

• 4–8 years of pharma commercial analytics consulting experience.
• Ability to own analytical workstreams with limited supervision.
• Advanced SQL skills with large longitudinal claims datasets.
• Proficiency in Python; knowledge of R/SAS/Spark is a plus.
• Strong data modeling and patient-level analytics understanding.
• Experience with cohort construction and time-series/predictive modeling.
• Familiarity with Snowflake, Databricks, AWS or Azure.
• Experience with Power BI or Tableau for visualization.
• Direct experience withIQVIA, Symphony Health, Komodo, Merative, Optum, etc.

Overview

Our client, a leading consulting firm, is looking for a Senior Consultant to join its Life Sciences Data and Analytics practice. This role sits within a team that supports major pharmaceutical clients on commercial analytics initiatives spanning commercial operations, marketing, patient analytics, forecasting, and market access. You will work directly with pharma commercial datasets to deliver insights that shape real business decisions for clients.

What You’ll Do

• Independently execute complex analyses across pharma commercial workstreams
• Build patient journeys using longitudinal claims and prescription data
• Conduct segmentation and targeting analyses that support brand and portfolio strategy
• Support forecasting initiatives using patient based, analog based, or epidemiology based methods
• Analyze commercial performance and translate findings into clear recommendations
• Manage junior analysts and review their work for quality and accuracy
• Present insights confidently and clearly to client stakeholders

What You Bring

• 4 to 8 years of experience in pharma commercial analytics consulting
• Proven ability to own analytical workstreams with limited supervision
• Advanced SQL skills and the ability to query large longitudinal claims datasets
• Working proficiency in Python; experience with R, Apache Spark, or SAS is a plus
• Strong understanding of data modeling and patient level analytics
• Hands on experience with cohort construction, longitudinal analysis, time series analytics, and predictive modeling
• Familiarity with cloud data platforms such as Snowflake, Databricks, AWS, or Azure
• Experience with Power BI or Tableau for visualization
• Direct, hands on experience with pharma commercial datasets such as IQVIA (Xponent, NPA, LAAD, DMA, OneKey, DDD), Symphony Health, Komodo, Merative (Truven MarketScan), Optum, Clarivate Real World Data, Veradigm, or HealthVerity
• Background in one or more of the following: commercial operations, marketing and omnichannel, patient analytics, forecasting and business planning, market access, or advanced analytics and predictive modeling
• Experience at a leading life sciences analytics or consulting firm (such as ZS Associates, Axtria, IQVIA Commercial Analytics, Trinity Life Sciences, EVERSANA, Norstella, ProcDNA, Fractal, or Tiger Analytics) strongly preferred
• Preferred therapeutic area experience in oncology, rare disease, immunology, neuroscience, cell and gene therapy, or specialty pharma

Nice to Have

• Experience presenting to director or VP level stakeholders
• Experience leading workstreams independently
• Exposure to business development or client facing proposal work

Compensation & Benefits

• Compensation: $80-90 per hour
