Job summary

Guidehouse seeks a Senior Consultant to serve FEMA as a Partnerships, Engagement, and Strategy expert. Based at FEMA Headquarters in Washington, D.C., you will lead multi‑stakeholder engagement and communications campaigns with state, local, tribal, and private sector partners to enhance disaster resilience.

You will develop executive briefings, translate complex information into actionable recommendations, and ensure high‑quality client service in a dynamic emergency management environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Six (6) years of experience in emergency management or a closely related field.

Responsibilities

• Lead partnerships, engagement, and strategic communication initiatives between FEMA and external partners.
• Build and sustain trusted relationships with government and private sector partners to advance disaster preparedness and resilience.
• Develop engagement strategies and communications campaigns for FEMA programs and partnership opportunities.
• Research and communicate risks, operational challenges, and resilience initiatives to inform decision-making.
• Plan, organize, and facilitate meetings, workshops, and stakeholder engagements with senior leaders.
