Job summary

Guidehouse is seeking a Senior Consultant to support FEMA’s mission from our Washington, DC, office, embedding within FEMA Headquarters. You will guide partnerships, engagement, and strategic communications with federal, state, local, and private-sector stakeholders to strengthen disaster preparedness and resilience.

The role requires building trusted relationships, developing multi-channel communications, and delivering executive-ready materials that translate complex data into actionable

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 6 years of emergency management or related field.
• Experience with FEMA, NRCC, CISA, NRF/NDRF.
• Strong communications and planning skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead partnerships, engagement, and strategic communication initiatives.
• Build and sustain relationships with external partners to advance mission objectives.
• Develop and implement engagement strategies, outreach plans, and communications campaigns.
• Prepare executive briefings, talking points, and reports for leadership and stakeholders.
• Plan, organize, and facilitate meetings, workshops, and stakeholder engagements.
