Our client, a growing technology consulting firm specializing in AI and enterprise solutions, is seeking a Senior Consultant to join its team.

The Senior Consultant advises clients and senior business leaders on complex business and technology challenges, translating strategy into practical recommendations and successful implementation. This role combines hands-on consulting with leadership of enterprise-level, technology-enabled change, including software development and artificial intelligence (AI) initiatives.

The Senior Consultant guides cross-functional teams through ambiguity, facilitates executive decisions, and balances delivery commitments with client value, cost, and risk. The role also helps strengthen consulting delivery practices and develops consultants and project leaders through coaching, clear expectations, and outcome-based accountability.

Key Responsibilities

Client Advisory and Strategic Problem-Solving

• Diagnose underlying business and technology problems, develop credible alternatives, and recommend solutions aligned with client strategy and operating priorities.


• Facilitate difficult discussions, communicate concise executive recommendations, and build credibility with business leaders and technical teams.


• Lead implementation of agreed recommendations, adapting the approach when conditions change and maintaining focus on measurable client value.

Service Delivery and Engagement Leadership

• Lead complex enterprise initiatives across the delivery lifecycle, from discovery and planning through implementation, transition, and outcome review.


• Manage cross-functional delivery, technical risks, dependencies, and competing demands; resolve troubled engagements and balance scope, quality, time, budget, and stakeholder expectations.


• Build or improve consulting delivery practices, project management office (PMO) capabilities, and multi-engagement governance to strengthen quality and predictability.

People Leadership and Performance

• Develop consultants and project leaders through coaching, feedback, and opportunities to strengthen consulting judgment and delivery capability.


• Set clear expectations for ownership, performance, and collaboration; address performance issues directly and create accountability without micromanagement.


• Connect individual engagements to broader business priorities and share lessons that improve team effectiveness and delivery practices.

Experience Required

• At least five years of prior management and technology consulting experience.


• Proven enterprise-level project delivery lifecycle management, including leadership of complex, cross-functional, technology-enabled initiatives.

Capabilities and Experience

• Demonstrated consulting expertise. A track record of advising clients or senior business leaders, diagnosing underlying problems, developing recommendations, and leading implementation.


• Service delivery leadership. Experience building, improving, or leading a consulting delivery function, PMO, or multi-engagement delivery organization.


• Strong business and commercial acumen. Ability to connect delivery decisions to client strategy, operating performance, cost, risk, and value.


• Executive communication and influence. Ability to facilitate difficult discussions, communicate concise recommendations, and build credibility with executives and technical teams.


• People leadership. Evidence of developing strong project leaders and consultants, setting clear expectations, addressing performance issues, and creating accountability without micromanagement.


• Strategic thinking and creative problem-solving. Ability to connect individual engagements to broader business priorities, work through ambiguity, generate credible alternatives, and adapt when the original approach is no longer appropriate.


• Technical credibility. Substantive experience leading enterprise-level technology-enabled change, including software development, process improvement or AI-related projects using agile methodologies. Ability to understand the delivery lifecycle and assess technical risks and dependencies.


• Proven complex delivery. Experience leading cross-functional initiatives, resolving troubled engagements, and balancing scope, quality, time, budget, and stakeholder expectations across competing demands.
