UFG Insurance is seeking a Sr. Production Underwriter - Construction to join our Mountain Region in a multi-line, construction opportunity. In this role you will be responsible for attracting and underwriting middle market business, deploying effective account management while fostering strong working relationships with agency partners.

This role executes underwriting strategy to achieve profit and premium plans. The Sr.

Qualifications

• Four-year college degree preferred.
• Completion of or working towards AU, CIC and/or CPCU designations preferred.
• 5+ years commercial lines underwriting experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Profitably underwrite complex new and renewal business through risk selection and pricing.
• Document files with underwriting thought process and mentor team members.
• Develop and maintain relationships with producers and agencies.
• Represent UFG in the marketplace regarding underwriting capabilities.
• Collaborate with internal partners to ensure optimal stakeholder management.
• Support deployment of underwriting training content.
