Arch Insurance Group Inc. seeks an Assistant Vice President in Construction casualty underwriting to lead technical underwriting and account management for Middle Market programs.

You will price, quote and negotiate risk with brokers, and drive renewal strategies across assigned accounts. The role emphasizes collaboration with Risk Engineering, Claims and internal teams, delivering high-quality service plans, managing pre-renewals and agency relationships to support growth and profitability

Qualificações

• Ten (10) years of Casualty underwriting experience with Construction underwriting experience preferred.
• Established broker relationships within the region would be ideal.

Responsabilidades

• Underwrites, prices and prepares Casualty quote proposals based on risk characteristics.
• Solicits and reviews new and renewal account information required to evaluate a risk.
• Identifies all potential exposures and hazards in relation to coverage requested and individual risk characteristics.
• Coordinates all administrative duties related to existing and prospective accounts.
• Prepares final quotation/proposal and presents to producer and/or prospective insured.
• Manages post-bind activities including policy production, audits and adjustments.
• Develops and maintains relationships with key agency personnel to generate submissions.
• Delivers account service plans to customers with the team.
• Leads renewal process to achieve retention and rate goals.
• Engages Risk Engineering and Claims to assess risk.
