Job summary

State of Vermont, Transportation Agency in Berlin, VT, seeks a Construction Technology Specialist IV to lead CMS training and resource development. The role requires independent judgment and senior-level expertise in CMS and related technologies.

You will guide staff, manage SharePoint-based resources, and stay current with processes in construction management. The position is full-time, permanent, located in Berlin, VT.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, data science, data analysis, GIS, IT or related field with 4+ years in a technical support role in construction
• OR an Associate’s degree with 6+ years in a technical support role in construction
• OR 8+ years in a technical support role in construction

Responsibilities

• Lead development, coordination and implementation of training curricula and guidance materials for CMS and related technologies
• Coordinate with Construction and Materials staff to keep training resources current
• Utilize SharePoint to host, maintain and publish training resources and ensure user access
• Maintain expert knowledge of CMS functionality and related processes
• Stay updated on construction and materials business processes for training resources
