Job summary

Black & Veatch is seeking a Senior Tools & Implementation Specialist to lead training development and deployment for field teams, advancing Advanced Work Packaging (AWP), WorkFace Planning (WFP), and digital construction tools on-site.

This field-based role includes mentoring other training staff, aligning programs with project goals, and driving continuous improvement across multiple projects.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a leadership, training, instructional, or construction operations role.
• Open shop and/or union experience required. Direct Hire experience required for Direct Hire assignments.
• Extensive hands on experience in construction, project management, or industrial field operations.
• Strong knowledge of AWP/WFP, work packaging principles, and field execution processes.
• Proficiency with InEight Plan & Progress, Procore, and related digital project management tools.
• Excellent presentation, facilitation, and communication skills across diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Lead development, maintenance, and implementation of training programs across projects.
• Develop curricula for Coordinators, Superintendents, and Front Line Supervisors using Work Packaging and Plan & Progress workflows.
• Deliver engaging training sessions through classroom, workshop, field mentoring, and virtual environments.
• Ensure training content remains current with project processes, software updates, and field needs.
