Job summary

Wainwright Talent Partners seeks a Commercial Superintendent with 7–10 years in site leadership to guide field operations on substantial construction projects in the Boston area.

You will develop schedules, monitor safety, coordinate trades, review plans, and report progress to the Project Manager and owners daily. A Bachelor’s degree in construction management or related field is required; four years in building trades preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, Construction Science, Business Administration, Accounting, or related field required.
• At least four years of experience in building trade required.

Responsibilities

• Develop a schedule and cost-effective plan for completion of project.
• Complete daily reports and maintains logs, files, and shop drawings.
• Communicate performance and schedule issues daily to the Project Manager to brainstorm remedies.
• Manage subcontractor performance to firms quality and ethical standards.
• Collaborate to create preconstruction estimates and budgets for materials and labor.
• Coordinate and schedule work activities of tradespeople and laborers; relay instructions via project foreperson.
