Job summary

Wainwright Talent Partners is seeking an Assistant Superintendent for a large Boston project. In this role you will work with the Superintendent to oversee construction, safety, quality, and schedule, ensuring work is completed on time and to specifications.

You will coordinate with subcontractors, monitor budgets and progress, conduct site inspections, review plans, and maintain detailed daily reports. A Bachelor's in CM/Engineering and at least 2 years' construction experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of construction experience.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and processes.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction documents.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management software.
• OSHA 30 certification preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Superintendent in planning, scheduling, and coordinating with subcontractors and suppliers.
• Monitor project schedules to ensure on-time and within-budget delivery.
• Conduct regular site inspections per plans and specifications.
• Assist in managing project budgets and tracking expenses.
• Ensure safety protocols and regulations are followed on the construction site.
• Communicate with project team and clients to provide updates and address issues.
• Assist in resolving conflicts or issues that arise during construction.
• Maintain records of progress, including daily reports, safety reports, and change orders.
