Job summary

DAVIS Construction in Rockville, MD is seeking an experienced Superintendent to lead on-site field operations for large commercial projects. This full-time, on-site role focuses on safety, quality, and on-time delivery.

You will supervise subcontractors and field staff, coordinate with the Project Manager to maintain CPM schedules, review submittals, and ensure compliance with contract documents.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4+ years of supervisory construction experience.
• Experience managing safety, schedule, and subcontractors.
• Bachelor's degree in construction-management or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily site operations, safety enforcement, and subcontractor oversight.
• Coordinate with Project Manager to develop and maintain CPM schedule.
• Review submittals, RFIs, shop drawings and ensure alignment with contract documents.
• Mentor field teams and document daily reports, safety audits, and progress.
• Coordinate inspections, punch lists, and project closeout.
