Job summary

DAVIS is seeking a Senior Superintendent to provide on-site leadership for large, complex projects in Rockville, MD. You will supervise superintendents, foremen, and subcontractors, coordinate with clients and design teams, and ensure work is on time and within budget.

You will enforce safety, quality, and regulatory compliance, develop project plans, review contracts and drawings, and mentor field staff while upholding DAVIS core values.

Qualifications

• Ten to fifteen years of construction operations experience or a Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field with at least seven years of supervisory building construction experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead large projects, manage schedules, coordinate trade partners and ensure project success.
• Oversee all field operations to ensure timely and high-quality delivery.
• Lead project execution from field operations to coordination with trade partners while meeting safety, quality, and contractual obligations.
• Partner with the project management team to guide project teams with strong organizational skills and focus on goals.
• Apply knowledge of construction systems to keep operations efficient, cost-effective, and compliant.
• Communicate with Owners, Designers and trade partners to avoid major communication breakdowns and build trust.
• Mentor teams on safety standards and ensure adherence to company protocols.
• Identify risks and implement proactive measures to minimize disruption to projects.
