Job summary

DAVIS is seeking an Assistant Project Superintendent II in Rockville, MD to coordinate onsite construction with a focus on safety and schedule adherence. The role may supervise foremen and trade partners with limited oversight, and requires proactive problem solving with the project team.

Responsibilities include maintaining documentation, attending coordination meetings, reviewing submittals and RFIs, and ensuring quality per contract documents.

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating field operations and keeping projects on schedule.
• Familiarity with contract documents, submittals, RFIs, tolerances, and quality requirements.
• Ability to identify conflicts and escalate issues promptly.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily field operations with the Superintendent and trade partners.
• Monitor safety, quality, and productivity on site and address issues.
• Maintain accurate field documentation including logs, photos, and reports.
• Attend trade partner coordination meetings and support resolution of conflicts.
• Communicate schedule impacts and constructability concerns to the supervisor.
