Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Permanent Superintendent to lead all on-site construction activities across the Western U.S. You will manage schedules, budgets, contracts, and procurement while coordinating with architects and engineers to interpret designs.

The role requires deep knowledge of building codes, strong leadership, and a track record of delivering projects on time and within budget. The ideal candidate has 5+ years as a superintendent, excellent communication skills, and a degree in construction

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of superintendent experience in construction.
• Experience in budgeting, scheduling, and contract management.
• Blueprint reading and subcontractor management.
• Knowledge of building codes and regulations.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Degree preferred in construction management or related field.
• Certifications in safety or project management desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all on-site construction activities, ensuring compliance with design, project specifications, regulations, timelines, and safety codes.
• Develop and manage project schedules, ensuring deadlines are met.
• Oversee budgeting, contract management, and procurement processes for cost-effectiveness.
• Collaborate with architects and engineers to interpret and execute blueprints.
• Manage relationships with subcontractors to ensure quality and timelines.
• Ensure construction activities align with building codes and regulations.
• Develop and implement construction plans, managing changes as needed.
• Address issues with strong problem-solving skills.
• Lead and inspire a high-performing team and foster collaboration.
