Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Permanent Superintendent to join our Western U.S. commercial construction team. You will oversee all stages of on-site construction, ensuring projects finish on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in superintendent roles, strong leadership, budgeting, scheduling, blueprint literacy, and knowledge of building codes. A construction management or engineering degree is preferred, with safety certifications highly desirable.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years as a construction superintendent.
• Experience in budgeting, scheduling, contract management, and procurement.
• Strong knowledge of building codes and regulations.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all on-site construction activities per design and safety codes.
• Develop and manage project schedules to meet deadlines.
• Oversee budgets, contracts, and procurement for cost-efficiency.
• Collaborate with architects and engineers to interpret blueprints.
• Manage relationships with subcontractors for quality and timelines.
• Ensure compliance with current building codes and regulations.
• Develop and implement construction plans and handle changes.
• Resolve issues during construction with strong problem-solving.
• Lead a high-performing team and foster collaboration.
