Job summary

Southway is seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to lead projects in North Carolina, including the Raleigh/Triangle and Lexington regions. You will own planning, scheduling, safety, and quality while building relationships with owners, trade partners, and field teams.

Responsibilities include leading on-site activities from preconstruction through closeout, managing CPM schedules, lookaheads, coordination with subs, and driving a culture of accountability and collaboration.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of construction Superintendent experience.
• Demonstrated experience leading projects of $20M+.
• Strong scheduling experience, CPM and recovery planning.
• Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills.
• Ability to build productive relationships with owners, trade partners and internal teams.
• Proficiency with Procore, MS Project and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day field operations from preconstruction through closeout.
• Develop, manage, and communicate CPM schedules and three-week look-aheads.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and trade partners to keep work moving safely.
• Own jobsite safety, inspections, and quality control processes.
• Build relationships with owners, design teams, inspectors, and partners.
• Coach and develop Assistant Superintendents and field team members.
• Lead and manage project documentation and closeout activities.
