Job summary

Turner Construction Company seeks a seasoned Superintendent for the Southern Cal Main project in Los Angeles, CA. You will lead, direct and coordinate subcontractors and Turner trade labor, ensuring safety, schedule delivery, quality, and adherence to the budget.

The role reports to Project Superintendent, Project Manager or Project Executive and requires a Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of experience, plus proficiency in Primavera P6 and Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction or related field.
• At least eight years of relevant experience.
• Experience managing subcontractors.
• Proficient in reading contract docs, drawings, and specs.
• Knowledge of Primavera P6 scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Oversee scheduling, delivery, logistics and staffing.
• Coordinate trades for a unified project operation.
• Manage site safety program and subcontractor compliance.
• Supervise assistants, field engineers and interns.
• Develop schedules and recovery strategies to maintain milestones.
• Communicate with owners/architects on field issues.
• Oversee billing, WIP, and subcontractor payments.
• Ensure work conforms to contract documents.
