Job summary

Rodgers Builders, Inc. in Charleston seeks a Senior Superintendent to lead project teams on our Charleston Regional Team. You will oversee safety, quality, and schedule, coordinating multiple subcontractors and ensuring work complies with contract documents.

Ideal candidates have 7–10 years as lead on-site, strong mentoring ability, OSHA 30-hour, and proven scheduling and cost-control skills; we offer comprehensive benefits and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• 7 to 10 years of lead on-site experience in construction.
• Experience establishing building layout and control.
• Proficient in document change and RFI management.
• Ability to maintain a high level of quality throughout.
• Strong leadership skills; mentor and train others.
• Monitors and addresses production through various trades.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safe practices are used in the execution of project work.
• Assist with development and communication of the project plan including schedule, site logistics, safety, and quality programs.
• Coordinate work of multiple subcontractors and lead coordination meetings.
• Conduct planning and maintenance of shutdowns and tie-ins.
• Maintain daily reports using 360 Field.
• Ensure all work is installed per contract documents.
• Assist in resolving construction issues to maintain subcontractor productivity.
• Produce and update detailed schedules.
• Strong communication; run meetings with Owners and Designers.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Collaborate daily with project team.
• OSHA 30-hour trained
