Job summary

ARCO is seeking an experienced Superintendent to lead ground-up industrial, cold storage, wastewater, and food/beverage processing projects in the Chicagoland area with 5–15+ years of experience. Manage field operations, schedules, budgets, and subcontractor coordination from day one to ensure on-time, on-spec completion.

Responsibilities include preplanning, resource planning, progress reporting, and enforcing the company's safety program.

Qualifications

• 5-25+ years of construction experience, with at least 5 of those years as a lead superintendent on cold storage or food and beverage processing facilities.
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook and project scheduling programs.

Responsibilities

• Attend post-award review meetings to receive project details for preplanning.
• Prepare a schedule of construction activities, organization structure, staffing, and equipment needs.
• Direct and control the total construction project to meet specifications and schedule within budget.
• Coordinate subcontractors and ensure integration with project schedules and progress.
• Maintain daily diary and report progress, plans, and issues to the project manager.
