ARCO National Holdings seeks an experienced Superintendent for ground-up industrial projects in the Chicagoland area. You will lead field operations, manage schedules, costs, and subcontractors to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.

The role requires 5–25+ years in construction, with leadership in cold storage or food/beverage facilities. ARCO offers strong benefits and a focus on safety and quality.

Qualifications

• 5-25+ years of construction experience, with at least 5 years as a lead superintendent on cold storage or food & beverage processing projects.
• Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook and project scheduling software.
• Possess and maintain a current, valid driver’s license in your state of residence.
• Ability to meet physical demands: standing/walking long periods, lifting up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Attend post-award review meetings to receive project information for preplanning.
• Prepare schedules, organization structure, staffing, and equipment needs with the project manager.
• Direct and control the construction project to meet specs, time, and budget.
• Coordinate subcontractors and ensure integration with project schedules.
• Maintain daily diary and communicate schedule changes to supervisors and owners.
• Prepare progress and cost reports reflecting actual costs and approvals.
