Job summary

Metcalf Builders Inc. is hiring a Superintendent II in Brighton, CO to lead daily jobsite operations, enforce safety, and coordinate with the project team. You will drive schedule adherence, manage subcontractors, and ensure quality and compliance across multi-phase construction projects.

The role requires a track record of field leadership, strong communication, and the ability to mentor field crews while maintaining safety culture and project performance.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of construction means, methods, sequencing, and building systems.
• Ability to interpret plans, specifications, submittals, and schedules.
• Proficient in jobsite documentation and field management software (Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project, etc.).
• Familiarity with QA/QC procedures and inspection processes.
• Strong communication, coordination, and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to supervise, motivate, and mentor field teams.
• Excellent decision-making, problem-solving, and critical-thinking abilities.
• High degree of professionalism, organization, and time management.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily jobsite operations and safety.
• Coordinate with Project Manager to maintain the project schedule.
• Direct subcontractors, manage quality and productivity.
• Ensure work aligns with plans, specs, and codes.
• Lead on-site safety, documentation, and progress reporting.
• Mentor field staff and coordinate with stakeholders.
