Job summary

Metcalf Builders Inc. in Las Vegas, Nevada, is seeking a Senior Superintendent to join our team. The role reports to the General Superintendent and supervises on-site construction activities to ensure safety, quality, schedule, and budget alignment.

You will mentor Assistant Superintendents and collaborate with Project Managers to drive project success. A strong safety culture and effective field leadership are essential for this position.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of the construction industry, including commercial and multi-family projects.
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to supervise, motivate, and mentor field staff and subcontractors.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Ability to read, interpret, and enforce construction plans, specifications, and schedules.
• Strong organizational skills and proficiency in managing multiple priorities.
• Commitment to safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Supervises and participates in the planning and setup of assigned projects.
• Develops and maintains the project schedule with Project Managers.
• Coordinates with inspectors, subcontractors, owners/architects, and suppliers to resolve construction challenges.
• Oversees purchasing and planning of equipment, materials, and long-lead items.
• Maintains full care, custody, and control of the jobsite in alignment with Safety Culture.
• Provides coaching and mentorship to Assistant Superintendents when assigned.
