Job summary

Norcon, Inc. is expanding its Indianapolis office and seeks a Construction Superintendent to lead the field team from preconstruction to closeout. You will coordinate with architects, clients, office staff, and subcontractors to keep projects on time and within budget.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree and 10+ years in project support or construction, with a strong safety mindset and excellent communication. Full-time on-site role with competitive benefits in Indiana.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 10+ years of project support experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Construction industry experience or a related field is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate all field activities from preconstruction through closeout.
• Lead field foreman meetings and communicate expectations for each week.
• Coordinate with owner’s onsite personnel and subcontractors to ensure high workmanship standards.
• Manage safety procedures, quality controls, and production on site.
• Prepare four-week look ahead and daily site journals.
• Assist PM in managing costs, change orders, and T&M requests.
• Ensure final inspections, occupancy, and as-built drawings at project closeout.
