Job summary

MB HAYNES Corporation in Asheville, NC seeks a Superintendent to oversee all subcontractors and coordinate with the project manager on each job site. You will plan work schedules, lead site meetings, monitor manpower, materials and equipment, and ensure work complies with drawings and specifications.

This role requires strong client-facing professionalism, safety leadership, and the ability to anticipate and resolve scheduling challenges.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years commercial construction experience in a supervisory capacity.
• Working knowledge of construction disciplines, scheduling, safety regulations, architectural/structural/PME drawings, and other documents.
• Basic computer skills; construction software experience favored.

Responsibilities

• Supervises subcontractors and provides a liaison between architects, engineers, owner's representatives, inspectors, and crews to ensure drawings and specifications are followed.
• Plans work schedules, holds job site meetings, monitors manpower, material quantities and equipment.
• Oversees performance and productivity to ensure the project schedule, rules, procedures, safety requirements and inspections are maintained.
• Advises the project manager of potential problems and scheduling difficulties and is proactive in resolving them.
• Performs additional assignments and some limited hands-on labor as required.
