Job summary

Balfour Beatty US seeks a Superintendent for a significant 11-story multi-family project in Washington, DC. You will oversee all field operations, coordinate subs and self-perform work, and lead the site safety program to Zero Harm standards while mentoring junior staff.

You will also participate in budget development, scheduling, logistics, and preconstruction activities, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and in compliance with company policies and quality expectations.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or related field preferred.
• 10 years of experience with a General Contractor, focusing on residential or base building/commercial office projects.

Responsibilities

• Oversee field operations and coordinate subcontractors’ work.
• Implement Safety/Zero Harm program on site.
• Assist project manager with budget development and preconstruction.
• Manage scheduling and site logistics.
• Mentor assistant superintendents and field personnel.
