Job summary

Balfour Beatty Communities is hiring a Construction Superintendent to plan, lead and coordinate project activities for a large residential development. You will set objectives, enforce subcontractor scope, and drive productivity to keep the project on schedule while maintaining safety standards on site.

The role requires a minimum of five years in construction supervision, a high school diploma or GED, the ability to read blueprints, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 5 years as a construction superintendent or similar role.
• Ability to read, understand and execute blueprints, drawings and plans.
• Knowledge of local and federal building codes, OSHA, EPA rules and regulations.
• EPA RRP knowledge, Building Codes and Compliance, Procore Project Management software.
• Active and valid Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate subcontractor scope, monitor productivity, and ensure project plans and schedule.
• Ensure daily reports and required documentation meet safety, environmental and regulatory requirements.
• Oversee construction activities, monitor schedule milestones and Prepare Schedule of Values.
• Review and process Owner and Subcontractor change orders; ensure adherence to plans and contracts.
• Implement safety program and daily safety inspections on site.
