Job summary

Talently is seeking an experienced Superintendent to lead on-site execution of large commercial construction projects. You will enforce safety programs, manage subcontractors, and maintain schedules while interfacing with owners, design teams, and authorities having jurisdiction.

This hands-on role requires strong communication, organization, and leadership to achieve on-time, within-budget outcomes. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of experience across commercial, multifamily, or healthcare

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience managing commercial construction projects above $20 million.
• Experience across commercial, multifamily, mixed-use, office, healthcare, medical, laboratory, retail, hospitality, industrial, or interior construction.
• Proficiency with Procore or similar PM software, Bluebeam, and MS Project or comparable scheduling tools.
• Massachusetts Construction Supervisor License and Boston Builders License.
• OSHA 10, CPR/First Aid, NFPA Hot Work, and NFPA Fire Prevention Program Manager certifications.
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Excellent organization, attention to detail, time management, and critical-path planning abilities.

Responsibilities

• Administer and enforce safety programs.
• Identify and correct jobsite safety hazards.
• Develop and maintain NFPA 241 and related safety plans.
• Develop, execute, and maintain project schedules to meet milestones.
• Manage subcontractor performance related to safety, quality, productivity, and schedule.
• Supervise staff and third-party labor; mentor team members.
• Maintain project documentation and reporting.
• Serve as point of contact for owners, design professionals, and authorities.
• Oversee project quality and address constructability issues affecting critical path.
• Collaborate with Project Management to control costs and support financial objectives.
