Job summary

Rycon Construction is seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent for our Texas office. The role focuses on leading commercial construction teams, coordinating subcontractors, managing budgets, and maintaining safety compliance on site.

The ideal candidate has five or more years of supervisory experience, strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing and finish trades, and the ability to read drawings and specifications. A background in scheduling and site management is essential.

Qualifications

• Five years of construction supervisory experience in commercial projects.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, contracts and specs.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and OSHA requirements.
• Experience scheduling work, materials, manpower, subcontractors and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and communicate project schedules.
• Coordinate daily activities for all subcontractors.
• Manage project budgets and track costs.
• Prepare daily site logs and reports.
• Ensure safety procedures and OSHA compliance.
• Organize inspections and ensure quality.
• Maintain communication with management on project status.
• Respond to onsite incidents per company procedures.
