Job summary

You will supervise carpenters, laborers and subcontractors, coordinate materials, tools and staff with Project Managers, and maintain daily reports and safety records on site.

Ideal candidates have 8 years as lead superintendent on commercial interiors or building renovations and can manage projects up to $10M.

Qualifications

• 8 years experience as lead superintendent on commercial interior, retail, building renovation projects
• Expertise with managing projects up to $10M
• Proven ability to direct subcontractors and schedule all work according to the project schedule
• High school diploma and two years of college preferred; or equivalent years of experience required

Responsibilities

• Oversee field staff on a project and ensure work follows plans and specs
• Supervise carpenters, laborers and subcontractors on site
• Ensure material, tools, equipment, information and staff are on site when needed
• Handle daily reports, time sheets, safety reports, and accident reports
• Act as a visible, integral part of the Houston market team
