Job summary

Black Construction, a Tutor Perini Company, is seeking a Superintendent to join our Guam office. You will coordinate field operations, manage workforce on the jobsite, and ensure quality and safety in line with contract specs.

Reporting to the Project Manager, you will lead weekly meetings, review reports, manage subcontractors, and mentor field staff to deliver on schedule and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Eight (8) or more years of construction experience with increasing responsibility.
• Experience as a superintendent on civil or commercial projects of $20M or more.
• Reporting experience for WIP, material and labor costs, and change.
• Experience with HCSS, Procore and Primavera P6, and MS Excel or similar software.
• Experience on Federal or municipal projects is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage field operations for assigned projects with a commitment to quality and safe construction processes.
• Manage the use of material and workforce personnel on the jobsite to obtain client satisfaction and company profit.
• Supervise and mentor employees; plan, assign, delegate, and direct work; appraise performance; reward and discipline.
• Inspire field personnel to perform at the highest level possible.
• Oversee field operations, including supervising and managing personnel and subcontractors.
• Monitor construction activity to maintain compliance with contract specs, quality, and safety standards.
• Generate requisitions, purchase orders, tool acquisitions, inventory, returns, and equipment rentals.
• Review weekly craft timesheets and Daily Construction Reports; participate in weekly subcontractor coordination meetings.
• Lead schedule meetings and safety meetings; coordinate with architect and owners.
