Job summary

SLSCO LTD in Tamuning, Guam seeks an experienced Project Superintendent to lead NAVFAC Design-Build construction on Guam. This on-site role directs daily field operations, ensuring safety, quality, and schedule adherence under EM 385-1-1.

You will coordinate with NAVFAC ROICC, the Project Manager, and subcontractors, managing resources, reporting progress, and resolving field issues to maintain baseline milestones.

Qualifications

• Ten or more years as a Superintendent on civil, vertical, or infrastructure projects, incl. projects valued at $50M+.
• Experience managing subcontractors and self-perform work in federal construction.
• Knowledge of EM 385-1-1, safety execution, and federal site requirements.
• NAVFAC/USACE/DoD project experience strongly preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple crews and activities concurrently.

Responsibilities

• Act as on-site construction authority, directing daily field operations per contract, submittals, and schedule.
• Coordinate construction activities performed by subcontractors.
• Maintain professional, disciplined, and respectful work environment.
• Provide progress updates to Project Manager and Scheduler.
• Enforce safety requirements with SSHO under EM 385-1-1.
• Interface with NAVFAC ROICC and Government QA during inspections and meetings.
• Support RFIs, design clarifications, and field-driven design issue resolutions.
• Ensure timely daily/weekly/monthly reports and maintain field records.
