Job summary

Black Construction, a Tutor Perini Company, in Guam, is seeking a Quality Control Manager to lead QC activities on civil/structural projects. You will supervise inspections, coordinate QA reviews, and ensure compliance with project specs and safety standards.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Engineering or related field and 5+ years as a QC Manager, with 10+ years in related roles. US work eligibility is required and NAVFAC/USACE experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related field.
• Minimum five (5) years of experience as a QC Manager.
• Ten (10) or more years in related senior roles on large contracts.
• Familiar with USACE EM385-1-1 requirements and safety/compliance.
• Experience with NAVFAC/ACOE or US Air Force quality systems.
• Experience on Federal or municipal projects is preferred.
• Must be able to work in the U.S. and its territories.

Responsibilities

• Develop understanding/working knowledge of the company quality control program, standards and procedures.
• Review design and submittal process and maintain QA records.
• Perform quality control inspections and witness tests for acceptability of work.
• Coordinate QA inspectors with Owner’s Rep and schedule inspections.
• Assist in preparing QC procedures and inspection instructions.
• Participate in internal/external QC audits.
• Review PO documents to ensure QC compliance and inspect material shipments.
