Job summary

Deltek seeks an experienced construction specifier to maintain our master guide specifications for architectural and infrastructure projects. The role focuses on ensuring quality and integrity of AIA MasterSpec and Deltek SpecText content across disciplines.

The ideal candidate will work with external consultants, evaluate products for inclusion, and collaborate on Specpoint enhancements while adhering to internal CSI standards and publication workflows.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience editing or writing specification sections.
• Experience with MasterFormat and Uniformat.
• Familiarity with Specpoint platform.

Responsibilities

• Update and create specification content with research from product literature and standards.
• Lead external consultants and review their work for publication.
• Evaluate products for inclusion based on technical standards and norms.
• Collaborate to enhance the SpecText platform and related tools.
• Respond to questions from customers, manufacturers, and internal teams.
• Adhere to CSI writing principles and internal editorial review processes.
• Present thought leadership pieces related to specification topics.
