Job summary

Deltek seeks an experienced construction specifier to maintain and expand our master guide specifications across vertical building design and infrastructure. Candidates should have architecture or engineering expertise and CSI/CDT credentials.

This role involves coordinating with external consultants, evaluating products for content, and guiding content through publication. The position emphasizes collaboration with Deltek teams, adherence to CSI standards, and occasional presentations or

Qualifications

• Experience editing or writing specification sections (minimum 5 years).
• Subject matter expertise in architecture or engineering disciplines.
• Familiarity with MasterFormat and Uniformat; experience with Specpoint is a plus.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and coordinate with consultants and sales/marketing.

Responsibilities

• Update existing specification content and create new content by researching sources.
• Guide external consultants, define scope, review work, and shepherd content to publication.
• Evaluate products for inclusion based on technical knowledge and conventions.
• Collaborate on initiatives to enhance the Specpoint platform and provide input.
• Respond to questions from customers and internal teams; adhere to style guides and CSI formats.
• Make presentations and write thought leadership pieces related to specification sections.
