Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a Sr. Sourcing Specialist, Construction, to drive procurement strategies for Starship program construction. You will build contract management processes, develop supplier relationships, and lead cost reduction initiatives across large-scale industrial projects.

Responsibilities include negotiating terms, defining SLAs/KPIs, and overseeing supplier performance to ensure timely, cost-efficient delivery while adhering to regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree; or bachelor’s degree and 2+ years of experience in supply chain, purchasing, material or production planning, operations management, or material cost control.
• Experience in procurement for industrial/construction projects is preferred.
• Strong contract negotiation and document management skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive contract management process for project execution.
• Create sourcing strategies to meet cost and delivery targets.
• Establish supplier relationships and implement strategic sourcing models.
• Define SLAs and KPIs for suppliers and monitor performance.
• Identify and drive year-over-year cost optimization and waste reduction.
• Lead negotiations to maximize value and minimize risk.
