Job summary

Mortenson is seeking an experienced Senior Scheduler I to lead planning and scheduling on complex construction projects, coordinating across teams with professionalism and confidentiality. You will oversee scheduling practices, mentor staff, and ensure timely, safe delivery of project milestones.

Based in Kenosha, WI or other Mortenson locations with a willingness to travel up to 100%, this role requires strong communication, cross-functional collaboration, and familiarity with 4D visual

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or equivalent field.
• Minimum of four years construction experience; project engineer experience desirable.
• Excellent oral and written communication; travel up to 100%.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all planning and scheduling activities on projects.
• Plan, coordinate, supervise, and direct scheduling tasks.
• Ensure adherence to corporate planning standards and project schedules.
• Coach and supervise the scheduling team; mentor field personnel.
• Identify hiring needs and participate in HR decisions as needed.
• Implement Mortenson’s Zero Injury Safety Program at sites.
• Manage site work, logistics, and relations with visitors.
